Season Ticket Pass and Suite Deals for sale now (sale dates extended)
Looking to save money coming to the race as a fan? Well, we have something for you. We are now offering 2012 season’s passes for only $140.00 per pass. You get in to all the regular stock car race nights and can upgrade for the bigger shows right at the gate, except for the US Open. This is available until March 15.
Want to sit in a private suite in the tower and watch all the races in 2012 with your friends? We’re now offering suites for $350 for 20 people per race night if you buy before March 15, 2012. (That's a savings of $150). Or, you can buy a suite for the whole season for $4500.00 and this DOES INCLUDE the US OPEN to finish out the year. This is a savings of $2000 for the full season on a suite. And, it includes two cases of pop, one case of water and snack mix for a one night or full season suite purchase. This must be purchased before March 15, as well.
Stock Car season is fast approaching and we wanted to let you know of a few things taking place.
First, put the date of Saturday, May 5 on your calendar because that is the first practice day for our oval action. Grandstands admission is free that day for fans wanting to come out and watch, or catch up with old friends.
The following Saturday, May 12 is Opening Day for our season with the John Freundschuh Memorial kicking off our season with the Late Models added to this event. We are currently having discussions to see about starting a Six Cylinder Division for the 2012 season and are looking to have a meeting with the current Four Clyinder teams on that date, as well. Right now, we are looking at Saturday, January 14 at 2 p.m. at Brennan's Bowery and Bar located at the corner of Main and Transit in Clarence, N.Y.
As announced during the 2011 US Open, our own Tim Packman is returning to the track where it all started for him. He is now President of Stock Car Operations and some changes in procedures and personnel have already taken place. Your new Race Director is Todd Hannon, who has been a part of the DTRP landscape for many years. Please welcome him to his new position as he’s ready to do a great job for all of us this year.
We are in final discussions to bring back the popular Dirt Modifieds on a Tuesday night in June; and possibly another one later in the season in August. We are also looking to bring back Robosaurus for another “Car BBQ” buffet at our track in July.
The first Crash Mania will take place on Saturday, July 14 with another one scheduled – maybe two - for later in the year.
So, you think you have what it takes to be a race car driver? Well, you’ll have two chances to show your stuff this year. This first is on Sunday, May 20 and again on Sunday, July 29 at DTRP when the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience takes place on our own 5/8-mile oval. The NASCAR Sprint Cup champion and ESPN analyst will have his cars available right here for you to race and ride. His school is renting the track from us, so check out their website or call them at 855-22Rusty. He will NOT be here in person, however.
If you missed the season finale at our 2011 US Open, you missed one of the best races in the state. We will be having it all over again in September on the weekend of September 14, 15 and 16.
Remember when Ralph Galluzzi shot his mouth off at the US Open and said we’d be giving away a trip to Las Vegas? Well, it looks like he’s a man of his word and it’s going to happen! Details coming soon, but you have to be in it to win it!
Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page as details come together for the new season.
